Marble floor restoration methodology is usually completed in 4 basic steps. These steps include:

• Lippage Removal - The most powerful and dynamic, this step consists of grinding and leveling, removal of all ledges, and removes the most deepest scratches and stains.
• Honing - Provides the smoothing by using industrial diamonds which add more shine to the marble, removes any lingering scratches and stains, and provides the floor with a more uniform appearance. Sometimes this may be all that is needed for that spectacular look.
• Polishing - Gives that wonderful shining effect to the marble. Smaller grading on industrial diamonds are the key to that shiny look.
• Buffing - Sometimes called crystallization, is a method of chemical reaction on the surface of the marble which results in that mirror reflection finish. A thin micro film on the surface of the marble helps the marble to be more durable and preserve the color and brightness. Regular buffing is a very good method of maintenance.
