Keith Clay Floors - Supports RevoTile by Daltile
Introduces RevoTile for Fast Installation
The flooring industry supports companies for quality, inspiration, meeting needs, and for installation of quality products and durability just to name a few. This article the first in 2020, is by way of introduction by Keith Clay Floors a new technology. Bold and beautiful, DalTile 2020 has introduced a brand new RevoTile Click Together Porcelain Tile and waterproof flooring system. Revolutionary in the flooring field, with an installation process advertised as being two times faster, you can still consider the use of real porcelain tile in the right locations. Once grouted, the perimeter is sealed and RevoTile is now a waterproof flooring system.
Press Release: Daltile has launched RevoTile, a patented porcelain tile floating floor system that installs two times faster than traditional tile. RevoTile installs in just three easy steps: 1) Place underlayment 2) Click together tiles and 3) Grout.
By adding fast and easy installation to the porcelain category, RevoTile increases retailers’ sales opportunities even more by opening up tile to the lucrative DIY market, according to Scott Maslowski, senior vice president of sales for Dal-Tile Corporation, parent company of the Daltile brand.
“RevoTile also expands the applicable professional installation labor pool, because this revolutionary system can be easily installed by any of a retailers’ available installers: tile, LVT, laminate, and hardwood installers,” Maslowski said. “Daltile’s ground-breaking RevoTile opens up a new frontier of sales possibilities for flooring and tile retailers.”
“Tile has several key competitive advantages when compared with other flooring materials on the market,” noted Patrick Warren, vice president of dealer sales and showrooms for Dal-Tile Corporation. “Tile has been, is, and always will be the ultimate flooring product for wet areas. While spills can ruin other flooring types, the surface of tile is unfazed by liquids, water, or moisture.”
RevoTile offers a variety of product attributes: it is waterproof, durable, stainproof, scratch-resistant, dentproof, fire-resistant, slip-resistant, easy to clean, and beautiful, Warren said. Once grouted, the perimeter of the RevoTile genuine porcelain tile floor is sealed and RevoTile creates a waterproof flooring system.
And, that's not all, keeping the focus on style and design, Daltile also offers RevoTile porcelain tile in 26 marble, wood, stone, and concrete looks. These collections feature Datile’s state-of-the-art digital printing technology, simply known as Reveal Imaging. This is a proprietary innovation and the end result is that it produces realistic color, detail, and veining that are unique on every single tile. This spectacular reveal in 2020 means your floors can now have a look that’s virtually indistinguishable from the material being emulated.
RevoTile is Made In The U.S.A. using imported materials. Currently launching nationwide. Check out DalTiles video below.

The "Floorcast" is reporting to that end, take a look at what they believe will be part of what 2020 will have in store you home, business, and commercial options for the future. As hospitality and institutional revise their looks, flooring is going to be seen as a major transforming shift in performance. Keith Clay Floors in Dallas, your favorite flooring installer; invites you to read this enlightening article released in December well ahead of the up and coming 2020 new year.
Manchester, N.H. -- "As the year (and decade) roll towards an end, it's the time industry leaders take a focused look ahead to what 2020 has in store. Flooring America takes a look at what's ahead for the 2020 "Floorcast" for floor design, industry categories and products.
Performance Reigns Supreme.
One of the most transformative shifts in flooring is that performance has become the standard for the majority of flooring purchases. "Customers need flooring that works with the active lifestyle in today's world," said Cathey Gundlach Links, vice president of merchandising for Flooring America/Flooring Canada, IDG and the Floor Trader groups. "Floors that hold up to kids, pets, and messes. And thanks to the advancements in technology and innovation in the flooring categories over the last two decades– they can now have that performance and the aesthetic look they want in one product."
Luxury Vinyl Leads The Pack.
The hottest flooring for 2020? "Our exclusive Downs H2O luxury vinyl will continue to be number one on the minds of the consumers with wood looks trending," said Gundlach Links. "Beauty and durability will drive the success of this category into 2020. With the advancements in the technology of the core, solid core constructions will continue to provide worry free flooring options."
Waterproof Wave Continues.
Without question, the launch of waterproof real hardwood shook up the market in 2019, and Flooring America's President Keith Spano sees no slowdown in demand for it in 2020. "AquaDura H2O waterproof hardwood has just started to hit the market and the popularity with the consumer is overwhelming," Spano said. "Customers have totally embraced the whole waterproof phenomenon. The sky's the limit for design and it will continue to be a game changer for the hardwood category in retail and commercial business."
2020 Gets Lighter.
As for color, the key word for flooring is lighter. "It doesn't matter whether the customer is looking to purchase hardwood, luxury vinyl, or ceramic, the color winners for 2020 will be lighter and more natural looking," said Gundlach Links.
Going Coastal.
What was once considered in designs only for the beach and coastal areas, white-washed looks will emerge as a key staple color on showroom floors. "Blonde, lighter greys, and beige will be the new tonal and color direction for wood looks," said Gundlach.

Any room can gleam and shine with the application of a high performing past wax finish. The beauty of the warm glow has never been so beautiful. Keith Clay Floors invites you to take advantage of the Wood Floor Waxing Special going on right now that is listed above.
No more dull, lifeless and dingy look for you. Waxing hardwood flooring here in Dallas is a purely economic way to restore and prolong the life of your hardwood floors. Proper waxing technique with the application of a high performance paste wax will complete the granduer ambiance you are looking for and secure the investment of any hardwood floor in your home or commercial office.
Why Do We Wax Hardwood Floors?
- In the 1940's, thin layers of blends of solvents and synthetic and natural waxes lkie beeswax or carnuba were applied to hardwood floors. Once the wax is applied, the floor is buffed to a beautiful shine as the wax evaporates and the wax hardens sealing and adding to it's benefits:
- Increases stain resistance by allowing the seal not to be absorbed into the wood and eliminating stains
- By minimizing minor imperfections the wax fades or even eliminates the appearance of superficial scratches, dings, and heel scuff marks make
- Proper waxing does preserve the underlying finish of the wood grain appearance and special finishes. Wax can act as the first line of defense against spills, dust, and dirt whick can be ground into the finish. The wax does help the finish to last longer
Prolong floor life is always the end goal. Increased life equals proper maintenance.• Regular waxing enhances beauty in a way vacuuming or mopping can't achieve. Remeber there are colored waxes in brown spectrums that lend themselves to the overall ambiance and shine of the room design and decore which gives the appearance of an even richer and deeper patina
So, all things considered; remember that paste wax offers resistance to deeper dents or gouges ongoing. However, regular maintenance is a must to eliminate warping, bulging, moisture exposure due to leaks or floods, and does little to ward off warping or bulging from widespread moisture exposure due to leaks or minor floods. Wax should be considered as a top coat or in terms better seen as the final layer of protection, and not the only protective finish, on a hardwood floor. As with all hardwood floor products, paste wax like Bona products and Dura Seal colored stain colors are easily scheduled; and can provide you peace of mind with these time tested finish results.
